Some people are wrong to thing that acne is provoked with poor hygiene only. Acne appearance causes are the same for both sexes of any age. They are:

-           oil gland high activity;

-          age-specific hormones dysfunction i. e. oestrogen decrease and androgen increase;

-           bacteria influence;

-           Hyperkeratinization;

-           poor ecology;

-           stress and many others.

Stress can provoke acne appearance because of hydrocortisone level increasing that leads to oil gland activity increase. Sunbeam influence may make acne appearance better and then worse. Moreover some medicines for acne influenced by sunbeam may cause ill effects.

The main reason of acne appearance is androgen concentration increasing in blood. Oil-bags become more skin fat secreting, as a result. As oil gland enhances, ugly dilated pores appear on the face and there is a thicker layer of corneous skin scales in the mouth of its duct. The desquamation of these scales is faster than usually that leads to the duct constipation. In this case skin fat cannot ‘go out ‘and bit by bit accumulates increasingly more.

There Propionobacterium acne begins its propagation in the ‘corked’ pores. The bacterium is a common representative of the oil gland microflora, but when the bacterium propagates too fast, skin immune system begins struggle against it entailing dermatitis.  Quickened skin fat secretion entails fatty acids predominance in its structure.

At the same time, there is a reduction of exogenous fatty acids (linoleic acid and linolenic acid) abundance.  It is the fact that lack of these fatty acids results in skin barrier function problem. That just eases bacteria penetration and, besides Propionobacterium acne, there staphylococcuci, streptococcuci and some other suppurative inflammation pathogens appear in the oil-bags.

The struggle against blackheads, as it follows from the above causes, must include the following:

-          skin fat regulation;

-          keratinization processes in oil gland normalization;

-          conditions for free skin fat flowing from the ducts;

-          struggle with inflammatory process (including Propionobacterium acne numbers regulation).

-          skin barrier function recovery, that allows to prevent bacteria appearance in the oil-bags.
