Acne is a sort of disorder which leaves behind horrible marks on face and they are because we may have not taken precautionary measures for our acne. Precautionary measures if avoided may result in acne itself, as well. However in certain cases I have seen many people developing acne instead of taking measures.
Acne blemishes are developed most of the time result of infection developing inside the skin. If you need to prevent developing acne then you require cleansing your skin thoroughly. When you are near age of puberty it is suggested to take warm water bath regularly.

This would keep skin from blockage. However washing your face with warm water would be quite difficult so you could replace warm water with steam. Acne blemishes do develop for the reason of infections in sebaceous glands. This infection generally develops because of the follicles blockage. This blockage is the result of excessive fluid supply to the follicles by sebaceous glands. And dead cells are another reason for the pores blockage.
Once follicles are blocked pressure inside the follicles build up and appear as swelling. Skin colors changes and when the pressure becomes uncontrollable the fluid flow out of the pore. This condition may continue in some portions of the skin and might go for long periods but it depends on the condition severity.
The most responsible hormone for acne is male hormone. This is the reason it that hormonal secretions are associated with acne. However exact cause is not understood but there is some relation between acne and hormonal secretions.
A number of treatments have been developed for the condition and they are successful to greater extent.
